AB de Villiers is expected to return to action for the Proteas during the upcoming T20 International series against Sri Lanka. The T20Is begin on Friday, with De Villiers to become available in time for the third match in Cape Town on January 25.
If De Villiers proves his fitness, he is also expected to resume his captaincy duties for the five-match One Day International series against the tourists starting on January 28.
