Chinese Super League clubs will only be allowed to play three non-Chinese players per game in their next season - which begins in March.
A rule change has reduced the number of foreigners allowed in a move which could slow down the wave of big-money signings from Europe.
Previously the rule was "4+1" - four foreigners of any nationality plus one Asian player in a matchday squad.
Teams will now also be required to name two Chinese players aged under 23 in their matchday squads, with at least one in the starting XI, with the Chinese Football Association also looking into "signature fees and other illegal activities" in recent transfers.

The Sardar Patel Stadium at Motera will be dismantled to make way for a new stadium with a seating capacity of 110,000 -- bigger than the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Lord's Cricket Ground in England. The groundbreaking ceremony was carried out at the stadium on Monday.

Along with a glass chassis redesign and bezel-less screen, The Korea Herald reports that the new iPhone will also best the iPhone 7 with even higher resistance to water and dust.
The site claims that the iPhone 8 will tout an IP68 rating for water resistance and dust. This means it can withstand submersion for up to 30 minutes in about a metre deep water.

🎰Las Vegas launches the first 🚌self-driving shuttle🚌 on U.S. roads
Las Vegas is launching a self-driving, fully electric shuttle on public streets.
The shuttles are the result of a partnership between shuttle-maker Navya, fleet logistics provider Keolis and the city of Las Vegas, and began picking up members of the public today, riding a regular route along iconic Fremont Street between Las Vegas Boulevard and Eighth Street - right in the thick of regular traffic.

SpaceX 🚀 launches rocket, returns it to Earth🌏 intact
The company launched 10 Iridium satellites into an orbit 625km above the Earth's surface, and, as a bonus, SpaceX also demonstrated its increasing mastery of rocket landings by bringing the first stage booster back to a drone ship off the California coast.
SpaceX has now successfully landed seven rockets back on Earth.
This was their first successful launch since their rocket exploded on the launchpad last year.

جو پردوں کے پیچھے بھی دیکھتا ہے
زلیخا نے یوسف کے عشق میں مجبور ہو کر یوسف کا دامن پکڑ لیا اور اپنی خواہش کا اظہار اس قدر شدت سے کیا کہ آپ لرز اٹھے۔
زلیخا کے پاس سنگ مرمر کا بت کا جس کی وہ صبح و شام پوجا کرتی۔ اس کی آرتی اتارتی۔ دریائے نیل کی سطح پر تیرتے ہوئے کنول کے پھول اس کے چرنوں میں رکھتی، عطر چھڑکتی لیکن جونہی اس نے حضرت یوسف کا دامن پکڑا تو بت کو ایک کپڑے سے ڈھانپ دیا۔ مقصد یہ تھا کہ اس کا معبود اسے اس حالت میں نہ دیکھ سکے۔ وہ بت سے حضرت یوسف کے ساتھ دست درازی کی چھپانا چاہتی تھی
۔اس نازک صورتحال سے حضرت یوسف بہت رنجیدہ ہوئے۔ سر پکڑ کر رہ گئے۔ زلیخا جذبات کی رو میں بے اختیار آپ کے پاؤں چومنے لگی اور کہنے لگی۔
“اتنے سنگدل نہ بنو، وقت اچھا ہے، اسے ضائع نہ کرو۔ میری دلی مراد پوری کرو۔”
حضرت یوسف رو پڑے اور فرمایا۔
“اے ظالم! مجھ سے ایسی توقع نہ رکھ۔ تجھے اس بت سے تو شرم آتی ہے جسے تو نے کپڑے سے ڈھانپ دیا ہے اور مجھے اپنے خدا سے شرم آتی ہے جو پردوں کے پیچھے بھی دیکھتا ہے۔”۔
حاصل کلام؛خدا سمیع و بصیر ہے۔ لاکھ پردوں کے پیچھے گناہ کیا جائے اس سے پوشیدہ نہیں۔ اس لیے ہر وقت اس سے ڈرنا چاہیے۔
ایک ملاقات
شیخ الاسلام حضرت مولانا حسین احمد مدنی رحمتہ اللہ نے اپنے خطبات میں ایک واقعہ نقل فرمایا ہے کہ ایک لڑکے کو ایک لڑکی سے محبت ہوگئی مگر اس لڑکی کی کسی اور جگہ شادی ہوگئی ،لڑکا بڑا پریشان ہوا لڑکی کو خط لکھا کہ بی بی !میں تمہارے ساتھ شادی کی کوشش میں تھا مگر قسمت میں نہیں تھا ۔اب آپ میرے ساتھ ایک مرتبہ ملاقات کر لیں اس کے لئے جو بھی فرمائش ہوگی میں پوری کروں گا ۔
لڑکی نیک تھی اس نے کہا حضرت فاروق اعظمؓ کے پیچھے چالیس دن تک نماز با جماعت پڑھ لو پھر جہاں بلا ئیں گے حاضر ہوجاؤں گی ۔۔۔لڑکاپہلے لڑکی کے مکان کی طرف چکر لگاتا تھا مگر چالیس دن بعد اس نے جانا ختم کردیا ۔۔۔لڑکی نے پیغام بھجوایا کہ اگر میری فرمائش پوری کی ہے تو میں حاضر ہوں ۔۔۔لڑکے نے کہا پہلے میرے دل میں آپ کی محبت تھی مگر اب اللہ تعالیٰ کی محبت بیٹھ گئی ہے اب آپ کا اور میرا راستہ جدا ہے ۔۔لڑکی نے خاوند کو یہ بات بتلادی اس کے خاوند نے فاروق اعظمؓ کو یہ بات بتلائی تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ اللہ نے سچ فرمایا :’’بے شک نماز لوگوں کو بے حیائی اور بری باتوں سے روکتی ہے ۔‘‘ (خطبات مدنی)

اپنے کیریئر کے عروج پر میں ایک مرتبہ جہاز پر سفر کر رہا تھا‘ میرے ساتھ والی سیٹ پر ایک بزرگ بیٹھے تھے‘ سادہ سی شرٹ اور پینٹ میں ملبوس تھے‘وہ تعلیم یافتہ لیکن مڈل کلاس لگتے تھے‘مسافر مجھے دیکھ رہے تھے لیکن اس شخص نے میری زیادہ پرواہ نہیں کی‘ اس نے اپنا اخبار پڑھااور کھڑکی سے باہر دیکھنے لگے‘ بزرگ نے انتہائی سکون اور اطمینان سے چائے پی‘ میں نے ان سے بات کرنے کیلئے ان کی طرف مسکرا کر دیکھا‘بزرگ نے مہذب انداز میں مسکراہٹ کا جواب مسکراہٹ سے دیا اور مجھے ہیلو کہا۔
ہم نے گفتگو شروع کردی اور میں نے ان سے پوچھ لیا ’’ کیا آپ فلمیں دیکھتے ہیں‘‘ انہوں نے جواب دیا’’جی چند ایک دیکھی ہیں‘ آخری فلم کافی سال پہلے دیکھی تھی‘‘ میں نے کہا‘ میں فلموں میں کام کرتا ہوں‘ بزرگ نے جواب دیا ’’ بہت اچھا‘آپ کیا کرتے ہیں‘‘ میں نے جواب دیا‘ میں ایکٹر ہوں‘ انہوں نے جواب میں ’’اوہ! زبردست ‘‘ کہا اور خاموش ہو گئے‘ جب ہم نے لینڈ کیا تو میں نے ان سے ہاتھ ملایااور کہا کہ آپ کے ساتھ سفر کر کے اچھا لگا۔
بزرگ نے ہاتھ ملاتے ہوئے ہوئے جواب دیا ’’بہت شکریہ‘ میں جے آر ڈی ٹاٹاہوں‘‘ (جے آرڈی ٹاٹا انڈیا کے ارب پتی بزنس مین )۔ میں نے ٹاٹا صاحب سے ایک بات سیکھی‘ آپ خواہ کتنے بھی بڑے ہوں دنیا میں آپ سے بڑے لوگ موجود ہوتے ہیں‘ ہمیشہ عاجز رہیں ‘ یہ عاجزی آپ کو بلندی عطا کرے گی۔

Ricardo Carvalho's Shanghai SIPG move confirmed by AFC Champions League
It has been revealed on the tournament's Twitter account that the defender has moved to the Chinese Super League side, though the club are yet to officially confirm the deal
Shanghai SIPG have completed the signing of former Chelsea and Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho, according to the AFC Champions League's Twitter account.
And it has been revealed by the AFC Champions League's Twitter account that they have strengthened their squad further with the addition of Carvalho, though a deal is still yet to be officially announced by Shanghai SIPG.
Carvalho, a free agent since leaving Monaco at the end of the 2015-16 Ligue 1 campaign, has been training with the club in the last few days, Villas-Boas has revealed.
When asked about the rumours surrounding Carvalho, he told Chinese media: “I have a good relationship with Carvalho, who has a wonderful professional career.
“His CV makes it impossible for me to doubt his considerable stature among his peers. I’m impressed by the composure he showed on his first day of training. Right now he’s just training with us. We’ll make a decision in due time.”
However, Xie Hui, an assistant coach at the club, recently issued an ambiguously-worded message on his Weibo account saying: “Ricardo Carvalho, it’s a honor to have you on our side.”
The 38-year-old was part of the Portugal squad that was successful in Euro 2016 last summer - the latest honour in a trophy-laden career for the centre-back.
Carvalho won three Primeira Liga titles and one Champions League crown with Porto before switching to Chelsea, playing a key part in them claiming three Premier League titles and three FA Cups.
He left Stamford Bridge after six years to join Real and lifted the Liga title with Los Blancos during the 2011-12 season before joining Monaco in 2013.
Shanghai SIPG are one of Chinese football's star attractions, having also signed Hulk from Zenit for a then-Asian record £46.1m before smashing that mark when securing Oscar.

The Donald Trump tweets that say so much and reveal so little

It is as if the campaign is still going on.
Two weeks away from his inauguration, Donald Trump seems to prefer the role of "candidate" - flaying his opponents and aiming arrows at the federal government from the enemy camp.
It is almost as if he does not want to accept fully that he is the new chief executive who will be dealing with official Washington from the moment he drives back from the Capitol as the president on 20 January.
And his weapon of choice, forged for him like a legendary warrior's sword in the furnace of the new technology, is Twitter.
No president-elect has battled like this.
Most of them go to ground, secluded with the staff who will take over the West Wing, and make their plans. Dream their dreams, you might say.
They have followed the golden rule: do not give too much away, because it will make life more difficult when the inauguration is over and the business of power begins.
The Trump Twitter account is not just a break with that pattern, but a challenge to the very idea.
His New Year tweet (one of them, I should say) wished love to everyone "including my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don't know what to do".

The implication, of course, is that he does know what he is going to do. The trouble with his Twitter account is that it makes you wonder.
More than 34,000 tweets to nearly 19 million followers (many "enemies" among them, no doubt) and a narrative that has become a kind of stream of consciousness. They read like the unfiltered, disconnected thoughts of someone for whom patience is an ugly word.
You always have to say something, even if you say the opposite the next day. On Twitter, who cares?
Yet, the messages are powerful. One contemptuous tweet about the new Republican majority in the House of Representatives winding down the Office of Congressional Ethics led them to beat a humiliating retreat and cancel the plan.
Mr Trump's choice as White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, said the other day: "Whatever he tweets, he is going to drive the news."

And, bizarre though it may seem, the South Korean government is poring over them. The JoongAng Daily reported that a Twitter-watching position had been set up in the foreign ministry in Seoul "because we don't yet have an insight into his foreign policies".
What insight will they get from tweets which have criticised the Central Intelligence Agency, praised Julian Assange - the Whistleblower of WikiLeaks and a bete noire to most Republicans - and praised President Putin, who gets more friendly treatment than all Democrats and some Republicans at home?
And remarkably the tweets take aim at the entire intelligence community in Washington. What precisely are the South Koreans meant to make of that?
Not too much, you may think, because who can tell how this mercurial candidate is going to be moulded into a president? We still do not know and what his Twitter account tells us - colourfully, astonishingly, sometimes hilariously - is that he is refusing to let us know.
Far from revealing what a Trump presidency is going to be like - as he says his tweets do - they have the effect of enveloping him in a thick fog.
Yes we know he will "make America great again", cut immigration, build his wall, cut taxes, be Israel's greatest ally and so on. But how he is going to build a White House team on foreign affairs and security, conduct relations with Capitol Hill, deal with allies in Nato and the rolling chaos in the Middle East, we have very little idea.
And when the first crisis arrives - as it will before long - will he be able to find the calm that he needs?
No president-elect in modern times has said so much and revealed so little.
We know how Mr Trump feels about almost everything, but about priorities, his approach to the compromises of power, the way he will deal with the bureaucracy - in practice we know very little.
A week or two before election day in November, one of his close associates told me that, if he won, Mr Trump had agreed that in office he would relinquish control of that Twitter account, because it would be inappropriate in the White House.
The satirists' loss, certainly. But, if it happens, a step into reality, at last.
Some day he has to stop being the candidate and playing that game, even though he enjoys it so much.
So the first great test for the Trump White House team is surely getting his finger off that keyboard.
